This question is wrong.  Because not all Laotian have flat nose.  Just the other post, "why is Laos short and dark".  Not all Laos are short and dark.

The picture above are Thai girl, she is not Lao, her nose is flat too.

Indonesian girls nose are flat, they are not Lao

White girl with a flat nose.  She is not Laos.

Korean dictator with a flat nose.  He has a lot of money, but chosed not to fix his nose.  Agian, he is not Laos

I know the person post bad thing about Lao people are not Lao.  I just want to put it back to his or her face.  This person is either Thai or Cambodian.  Because these are the only two ethnic group wants Laos to fail.
