hey jus because we could be the largest beer lao producer does not mean we would be the largest consumer. we would most likely export,
take africa for example they are the highest producers of daimonds but that doesnt mean every one in that country has daimonds hangin around the house.
i personally think the more we produce the better, thats more income to the country.
I believe that some Lao kid drink beer instead of milk in Laos, ahaha the advertising of beer lao you can see anywhere on advertising on Festival, Tv and other media. beer Lao supports many activities in Laos, and now beer has its factory in the southern Laos, therefore people will love and drink beer Lao even more and more! Drinking beer Lao becoming a part of our culture, it is like as chinese drinks the tea. German also like to drink beer, so german beer is one of the best, British people are also love to drink beer as well.
I estimate that the productivity of beer Lao will be more more in the next future years and can control some Market in the Southeast Asia. I think the beer Lao must considering to open to the big markets such as china, Singapore,South Korea.. I am not sure there is beer Lao in japan?
Personally I think BeerLao is a great beer. I love it. I'm glad BeerLao is doing so well. So well in Laos that is. I live in Washington State and I hardly see BeerLao up here. Lets not talk about being world leading beer producer because I doubt that would happen. When BeerLao starts a mass export world wide then we can talk about it. It would be great if BeerLao can catch up to Heneiken and Corona....eventhough I think BeerLao is better.
If Lao people start drinking BeerLao more than water, then Laos has a problem. We would be known as the alcoholic country. More and more people would die because of all the drinking and driving...especially on motorbikes. As you know a lot of the drivers don't wear helmets. Also, Lao government doesn't have strict rules. It's like any goes. If you have money you can be an outlaw, but I'm not going to get into that.
I would be happy if BeerLao can be more success abroad then just at home.
