I think we find out something new about our Laotian women... when it come to perform on international stage, our Laotian women seem to perform a much better than men...
Like Lao Women Soccer Team... unlike men team.. men team they are suck and always find an excuse of lacking experience, lost face like Asean Cup in 2006 lost to Singapore badly 0-11, Vietnam 0-9 and Indonesia1-3....
estic news Laos wins victory over Malaysia by 3-1 in SEAWFC
(KPL) Laos defeated Malaysia by 3-1 in the second tie of the tournament on Wednesday but suffered a big loss to Myanmar 7-0 two days before in the Southeast Asian Women Football Championship (SEAWFC). The Lao players started the game well with nippy striker Souphavanh Phayvanh scoring goal in the seventh minute. The Malaysians fought back fearlessly after losing the first goal. Goalkeeper Ranie Paul and defender Rozeinie Du Sileh were in excellent form as they turned away the attempts by the Lao forwards. Lao team was awarded a free-kick on the right of the box in the 73rd minute. Sochitta Phonhalath, who is the teams free-kick specialist, lived up to her reputation when her shot dipped over the Malaysian custodian. Malaysia surprised their opponents when a superb cross from Rozeinie found Atin Surang who eased past the defence to score her teams first goal of the tournament. As Malaysia went in search of the equaliser, leaving themselves loose at the back, Souphavanh stole away and nailed her second goal of the match.
