Not just Lao people that like to eat animal **** such as Pia or Piah, not Pear. I saw other people also like to eat the animal dung or extraction or **** as well.

You are making a generalization here when you refer to Lao people. Just so you know not all Laotians eat animal waste. Please use the term “some or most Lao people” to be appropriate.

Why there is such Lao food? Because our ancesors has guided us to cook and eat these kinds of food, it is like the rule, you know: eg if you cook larp beef,you definately put the so called " Piah" otherwise the taste is not so Larpp

Piah is not sh*t. Animal waste product is sh*t. The stuff some Lao people like to eat is I think is called a "BILE". This is a chemical the cow use to break down what it ate.

I don't think this is safe but some people like it for crazy reason.

As for Mokr Kee Pah, I don't think we really eat the sh*t of the fish. Shat I remember is the intestine, liver and lung part of the fish. People just call is KEE but it is not. This is how we do it in my clan. I don't know how other Lao peopl do it. Maybe they do eat the KEE of fish.

name eta rap love eating jeo phia, larp sai phia a lot. It is Lao traditional food which our ancester used to cook and eat.

My falang friend when come have bbq at my place they immediately ask me to bring jeo phia to eat with bbq, I don't know why they love such thing like we khon Lao do.

You guys just the miss the show from the Travel Channel. I forgot his name, but he was a chubby guy that love to travel and eat foods around the world.
In Italy, they also craved for such foods. They were cooking cow and pork intestines at the market. All kind of animal parts were sold and eaten just like us Lao people.

So, to get to the point of this conversation; we are no difference than everybody else.
Eat what you like as long as it's healthy for you.

We Lao people are not different than other people. We like to eat almost anything that is edible ans as long as it is tasty or delicious as you like it.

Since I am Laos guy is not a suprise for what i eat and its my family foods. They can called anything or even its really bad, but that is what i grew up on.
If you never eat and you think is very nasty or poor arse food for people, but hey isnt a suprise either. Bcux your parents were caucasian.

Most people eat Piah in some form or another, for example If you eat prawns, small fish, mussles or any type of shells, most people wouldn't remove the guts, or put it in a nice word is Piah, so stop criticizing, we all eat Piah, even being a vegetarian sometimes they accidentally eat the catapillar/s or insects. That's another form of Piah too!
