According to Pasaxon newspaper, China becomes Number 1 foreign investment in Laos 2007, follow by Vietnam and Thailand, respectively.

The top 10 foreign investment in Laos 2007 is as follows:
1. China

   ຕາມບົດລາຍງານຈາກກົມສົ່ງເສີມ ແລະ ຄຸ້ມຄອງການລົງທຶນ ໃຫ້ຮູ້ວ່າ: ໃນສົກປີ 2006 -2007ຜ່ານມາ ໄດ້ມີ 22 ປະເທດເຂົ້າມາລົງທຶນໃນ 191 ໂຄງການຢູ່ສປປ ລາວ ດ້ວຍເງິນ ລົງທຶນທັງຫມົດ 971,4 ລ້ານກວ່າໂດລາສະຫະລັດ ແລະ ເມື່ອບວກກັບທຶນສົມທົບຂອງລາວ ເຮົາ ຈຳນວນ 165,4 ລ້ານໂດລາສະຫະລັດ ເຮັດໃຫ້ຍອດລົງທຶນທັງຫມົດຢູ່ ສປປ ລາວ ໃນ ປີຜ່ານມາມີເຖິງ 1,136 ຕື້ກວ່າໂດລາສະຫະລັດ.

   ໃນບົດລາຍງານດັ່ງກ່າວ ຍັງໃຫ້ຮູ້ວ່າ ສປ ຈີນ ເປັນປະເທດທີ່ໄດ້ນຳທຶນເຂົ້າມາລາວເປັນອັນດັບຫນຶ່ງ ເຊິ່ງມີຈຳນວນເຖິງ 496 ລ້ານກວ່າໂດ ລາສະຫະລັດ ໂດຍມີທຶນສົມທົບຂອງລາວເຮົາຕື່ມອີກ ຈຳນວນ 105,9 ລ້ານໂດລາສະຫະລັດ ແລະລົງທຶນຢູ່ໃນ 47 ໂຄງການ ໃນມູນຄ່າທັງຫມົດ 601 ລ້ານກວ່າໂດລາສະຫະລັດຖັດຈາກ ສປ ຈີນ ແມ່ນສສ ຫວຽດນາມ ເຊິ່ງມີຍອດເງິນທີ່ນຳມາລົງທຶນຢູ່ລາວ ທັງຫມົດ 155,9 ລ້ານ ກວ່າໂດລາສະຫະລັດ ບວກກັບທຶນສົມທົບຂອງລາວເຮົາຈຳນວນ 8,8 ລ້ານກວ່າໂດລາສະຫະ ລັດ ເຊິ່ງລົງທຶນຢູ່ໃນ 35 ໂຄງການ.

   ອັນດັບ 3 ແມ່ນລາຊະອານາຈັກ ໄທ ເຊິ່ງມີຍອດເງິນທີ່ນຳເຂົ້າມາລົງທຶນຢູ່ລາວ ຈຳນວນ 92,7 ລ້ານກວ່າໂດລາສະຫະລັດ ແລະມີທຶນສົມທົບຂອງລາວເຮົາຕື່ມອີກ 12,7 ລ້ານກວ່າໂດ ລາສະຫະລັດ ລົງທຶນຢູ່ໃນ 31 ໂຄງການ. 

   ນອກນັ້ນ ກໍຍັງມີ ສ ເກົາຫລີ, ມາເລເຊຍ, ອົສຕຣາລີ, ຝຣັ່ງ, ອັງກິດ, ຣັດເຊຍ, ຍີ່ປຸ່ນ.
