When I was younger I remember my father use some method to check math. We didn't have a calculator. I don't think any Lao here in America will remember or even know of it. I can't ask my father anymore but was wondering any of you in Lao still know of it.
The method involve drawing a giant letter X on the paper. Through some sort of calculation you put the answer on each section of the X. When 3 side of the X have the same number, it mean the your math answer is correct.
Anyone ever heard of this? If so please explain.
