Suppose that you are allowed to own one more nationality in your passport (apart from Lao nationality)

What other nationality you want to have and why? use reason and supporting details for your answer.

I want to carry an american passport/ have an american citizenship. Why ? So I can vote during an election.
I want to use my vote to kick any representative out of the office if that person is not doing crap for me or for his/her constituents. And to use my vote to keep a good and efficient person to stay in office for more terms.

i know people who can have 2 nationalities (because my country accept this... not laos :( )
but for me, this mean 2 passports. Not 2 nationalities in one passport. I don't think this is possible

For my part i'm french, but i would enjoy add a lao nationality one day ... but before, i have to learn lao language and live a few years (at least) in Laos

For my lao wife, it would be good if she can add french to her lao nationality

I am not sure but can you check out the yellowpage and call to the immigration office in Savannakhet. I think they can provide you the information you want. I am not sure that you can make a passport in Savannakhet. Especially if you are a foreigner, you need to do a lot of interview in Vientiane.
