Lao people would accept you as how you appear, no doubt. So don't wear stupid thing.
I have a feeling that our Lao teenagers don't want to follow the good things what the good western people do, but they want to follow the bad people. It seems to me they want to act like prostitute in the west, although they are not that kind of people.
C'mon guys!! Let's not rush to make some judgements on how they dress. Most of those pictures probably are taken at the party. Of course they are not going to wear school uniform or wearing traditional dress to the party.
Most of those girls come from well off families. On my last trip to Laos, I met one of the 3 girls on that last picture through some friends.
