I think hmong wants to be free and to free not just laotian in laos. but to free laos from communist government and helping out laos out. And is not just helping out laotian ppl is helping out the whole nation,hmong use to live along side with laotian peacfully until the war break out. As for me I am from Minnesota so I know....

You see in Australia when they discovered an australian person served another country Indonesia, australian media called him A TRAITOR....so think for yourself. Just 1 person, and did not envolve in killing or war but australian media already said that person was A TRAITOR. So is not only in LAO isn't it. In US law if a american citizen spied for a foreign country.....if that person was caught with evidences....he will be EXCUTED. You can verify for yourself.
I think we shoul forget the past and look to the future, there are hmong people live along side with other right in the centre of Vientiane, I saw hmong shop in Talad KUAR DEEN selling clothes and other stuffs, I saw hmong names in LAO GOVERNMENT DELEGATION meeting in ASEAN.
