Oh! it seems to be great. I hope they have had something special or useful to attract the Lao readers, especially young or new genaration. I have no doubt they would have a good team of writers and editors. But before I try, could I comment on its name? I don't know whether people in charged of this magazine will read or not. "Khouan Chay" or "Khouan Jai" seems to be too general. Since your target is young people, why don't you name "Khouan Jai Pasa" or "Kouan Jai Vainoum". Also, it would be great, if you can provide the optional solutions of life for your readers such as how they would address with outstanding problems in Laos, how they would do when they have heart broken and the like rather than just show model photos. All the best to Magazine "Khoun Chay"
Too many magazines about nothing. There must be at least a dozen magazines now published in Laos and all of them about leisure and advertising. Need magazines that talk more about the issues in Lao society.
i have an idea to realise a new magazine named FAMILY MAGAZINE. what do you think? will it work? i am now doing socialogy course in Vietnam now. and i can recognise family contributing a very very big role in every field of society.
your idea is dood to realise VALASAN KHOP KHUA because, we are realy lack of information concern to family, a lot of family problems especially in the cities, many society problems beggin from family, it will be work if you smart enough, anyway cheers for your idea
Eak! Their hair styles look so funny. Are they Lao youth? Funny dresses and funny look.
Only to a western stand point. Hair styles like that are common in Eastern Asia. I don't know about the clothing (looks like used Japanese or Korean school uniforms) but Eastern Asia is known for its "creative" fashion.
Japan currently has the largest Male hair product market, with 70% of the world's hair products for men being sold in Japan. Maybe Laos will be next hehe.
Many Lao magazine just translate the article from thai magazine or thai website without making a refer to them. I was also very surprised to see that two famous Lao magazines used the same photo and story from thai website in the same month !
