Laotian drug dealer sentenced to life in Vietnam !!!

A Vietnamese court sentenced a Laotian drug dealer to life for smuggling 6.3 grams of heroin into the central Ha Tinh province.

Va Toong Vu, 49, was arrested last April in Ha Tinh while he and four henchmen were carrying the heroin to the Cau Treo border gate.


But Va’s accomplices, three Laotians and one Vietnamese, escaped and the police said they were tracking them down.


They seized the heroin and a car with a Laotian license plate.


The court cited Va’s full confession and good record as mitigating circumstances.


Vietnam has some of the world's toughest drug laws. Possessing, trading, or trafficking more than 600 grams (1.3 pounds) of heroin or 20 kilograms (44 pounds) of opium is punishable by death or life in prison.

He is Vietnamese, not Laotian.  That's not a Laotian name.

Damn , Va Toung Vu, this guy name indicated that he is a vietnamese.  So how come the news from this column said He is a Laotian?
The drug dealer should have no mercy, put them to labour camp to work hard and never let them out to the community again.

Judging from his name and face, he is likely not Laotian. However, it could be the case that he is Vietnamese living in Laos. Anyway, no matter he is Laotian or Vietnamese, the punishment is suitable for him.
