This song by the band "Modern" in Luang Prabang. They remind me the boyband "Unicon" in Vientiane.

Any comment for their music?

Good song, but I think it souds just like any Thai music.  We copy them too much now, can Lao song writers/singers create their own theme/rhythm.

I like L-Zon better.  They show their Louang Prabang's accent, it made me feel like home when I hear that.

To all Luang-Prabang's singers,

Please do not speak Vientiane accent with the audience, use your own accent, it is so beautiful.  Phone Phoummethone who is from Luang-Prabang spoke Vientiane accent with Jao Surivong (the ex-Lao's king grandson) during the interviews when he came to Canada.  Older people have told me that she should have talked to him with Luang-Prabang accent because he is also from Luang-Prabang.

I like my Southern dialect...

They call me Hum Lum. :p

I don't know how to really speak the Vientiane dialect, since most of the people that live in my area are from the South...

Can anyone post the difference? I can tell the difference, I'd just love to speak it. I know Vientiane is slower and higher.

Official language in Thailand is Kroung Thep accent.

Official language in India is Hindu.

Should Laos have official language and what accent should it be ?

1. Vientiane accent          (Central)
2. Luang Prabang accent  (Northern)
3. Pak se accent              (Southern)
