Vientiane — Southernmost province Attapeu in Laos has developed close educational links with Viet Nam’s provinces in human resource training.

The province has sent 600 students for short and long-term courses at colleges and universities in Viet Nam, so far, with funds to assist them during their study; 400 graduates have since returned to work in Attapeu.

In the future, Viet Nam’s Central Highlands provinces of Gia Lai and Dak Lak plan to grant scholarships to Attapeu students for training courses in their respective provinces. — VNS
