When I visited Laos last time, I noticed that almost everyone (from teenagers to adults) drinks alcohol and majority of men smoke.  With low wages and very high inflation.  Where do they get the money from to support their habbits and family.  I wonder?

Laos used to be called A LAND OF MILLION ELEPHANTS, I think now it's should be called A LAND OF MILLION ALCOHOLICS.

Drinking is not good for the liver.  If you drink and drive, there is a very high chances that they will kill innocent people on the roads.
Smoking causes lung cancer.

The Lao government should do something to address these issues.
