In January every year, groups of primary school teachers from across rural Laos come together for innovative five-day workshops.  They explore ways to use activities and games that reinforce the academic content of their classes, and increase the students' retention of the concepts taught.  The workshops are led by a team of educators from Thailand and the United States, who benefit from the experience of being immersed in the diverse cultures of Laos.  The project is an extraordinary opportunity for professional educators to exchange ideas and work together for the benefit of children.
