(KPL) Mitsubishi makes its long awaited return to Laos through its official dealership Mitsubishi Laos.
The dealership was officially launched on last Friday by Mr M. Imai, Coperate General Manager, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, at the Lao International Trade Exhibition and Convention Centre (ITECC). Mr Bounchan Sinthavong, Deputy Vientiane Mayor attended the opening ceremony.
The exhibition Amazing Mitsubishi showcases Mitsubishis latest models, offer test drivers to potential customers and have a demonstration by stunt drivers.
Selected audience members also got the chance to drive a Mitsubishi Triton over an obstacle course including a fabricated steel mountain with severe slopes.
Located at Mitsu Laos in Bueng Khayong Neua, Sisattanak district, Vientiane, the dealership is offering a totally new standard of sales with its factory fitted left hand drive models and after sales service with Thai technicians trained at the highest levels by the Mitsubishi factory.
It plans to ensure that its spare parts are promptly available at very reasonable prices.
As parts of its overall strategy to ensure nationwide presence, Mitsu Laos has established showrooms in Vientiane and is currently in the process of looking for new dealers in the key markets of Luang Prabang, Savannakhet and Champassak. Among all export markets, Lao market is potential and promising. We, Mitsubishi Motors, have been conducting an extensive research and an investigation how to penetrate Mitsubishi brands in this important market, said Mr Michiro Imai, Corporate General Manager of Asia and ASEAN Office of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation.
